Taking Pets from UkraineTo take your pet from Ukraine you must obtain three certificates:
1) The first certificate must be obtained from the appropriate pet club:
3) The final certificate must be obtained at Boryspil Airport. The veterinary check station is located in Room 211 on the second floor and is open 24 hours a day. A fee of approximately $10 will be charged. You must present this last certificate to US customs upon arrival in the United States. Many major airlines now allow passengers to carry on small pets if they are transported in cages that fit under the seat. There is of course an extra charge. If your animal or its cage is too large to fit under an airline seat, then they will be transported in a pressurized section of the baggage area. Processing
times, requirements and fees are subject to change without notice.
